How long does it take to progress through the levels?
Learning a language is a journey that varies from person to person, but there are general estimates to help guide your expectations. For a motivated learner starting from scratch, reaching A1 level (Beginner) typically requires around 60–80 hours of guided study. Moving from A1 to A2 (Elementary) often takes an additional 100–120 hours, as learners begin to understand and use simple expressions in everyday situations. Progressing from A2 to B1 (Intermediate) may take around 150–180 hours, as students start to handle more complex conversations and write with better structure. Finally, advancing from B1 to B2 (Upper-Intermediate) can take approximately 200–250 hours, enabling learners to express themselves clearly and interact with a degree of fluency in a wide range of contexts. These timeframes are flexible and depend on individual pace, consistency, and exposure to the language.

Hi
I studied French back in University 10 years ago. I am not sure how much I remember but I would prefer starting from scratch as I am a slow learner anyway. I will be in touch!
Thanks
Hi there,
The IGCSE exams are near and I need a Spanish crash course. I sent you a request and I am hoping to start this weekend.
See you!

Hi,
I am looking for old IB papers. If the tutor can use some of them with me during the session, it would be super helpful.
Looking forward!
